Formed in 1994, BMWT is an all-volunteer grass roots organization supported by donations and fundraising. We have no paid employees and do not receive funding from any level of government.
As you will read in this Newsletter, we are facing severe development pressures like we have never seen before. We also continue to build community and raise awareness of environmental issues so run our ever-popular events like this summer’s ‘Be The Change’ film series and ‘See The Salmon’ in the Fall.
We desperately need more volunteers to help us with marketing and communication, membership, special events, fundraising, accounting and so much more.
