What Film: Metamorphosis

Billed as ‘a poem for the planet’, Nova Ami and Velcrow Ripper’s film Metamorphosis takes the pulse of our earth and bears witness to a moment of profound change: the loss of one world and the birth of another. Through a tidal flow of stunning images, Metamorphosis carves a path from the present to the future, and offers a bold new vision for humanity and the world.

Why:

As the socially and environmentally conscious Be The Change Film Series enters its second decade, it turns its attention to local youth. Our youth are the future—they are the ones we need to empower to Be The Change in the world.

The Blue Mountain Watershed Trust Foundation is working together along with other community partners to provide the audience with a deeper and more comprehensive understanding of some of the most important ecological and social justice issues facing our local area and the communities of planet Earth. Proceeds from BTC will benefit The Blue Mountain Watershed Trust, a longstanding, local, environment-focused charity.
