Tree Planting at Black Ash Creek

The cold wet weather didn’t stop community volunteers and members of Blue Mountain
Watershed Trust from getting their hands dirty planting native trees along Black Ash Creek in
Collingwood on Saturday May 6. The trees planted as part of this annual event coordinated by the Nottawasaga Valley Conservation Authority, will help stabilize the stream bank and enhance fish and wildlife habitat.
