Be The Change Film Series is excited to start Season 18 on Wednesday October 15th at 7pm at the Simcoe Street Theatre in Collingwood. For nearly two decades, this community film series has inspired audiences with thought-provoking stories that highlight our environment, our communities, and our shared capacity to create positive change.
The season opens with a screening of Incandescence, courtesy of the National Film Board of Canada.
Directed by Nova Ami and Velcrow Ripper, Incandescence is an immersive cinematic experience that follows the rhythms of wildfire: destruction, aftermath, and rebirth. Through on-the-ground footage and extraordinary stories of survival and adaptation, the film transforms our understanding of the role fire plays in the natural world.
