Blue Morph Snow Goose

This rare bird sighting was discovered at Beaver Pond, Bruce Sidetrail near Sideroad 19 in Heathcote this past October.  This lone white-headed, pink-footed Blue Morph Snow Goose was found hanging out with the other Canada Geese.  Snow Geese are known to migrate south in large numbers over the Great Lakes but are very rare in the Blue Mountains area.   How special are our wetlands?!!
