Your trust is growing stronger and larger every year. We now number over 550 members which is a reflection of concern and support for our environment. Our largest membership category is Family, and we encourage more families to join – this is the way to pass on to younger generations a concern for our environment and the threats that are challenging our collective future. (Consider a gift of a family membership this holiday season!).

Donation of Securities – new feature for members!
BMWT can now accept gifts of securities. Your gift of securities entitles you to a donation receipt for the full market value (resale) of your contribution. This transfer will result in a non-refundable tax credit. You can use it in the year of your gift or carry it forward for up to an additional five years. Plus you pay no capital gains tax on the appreciated value (increased price) of your securities. Donating directly avoids the tax on capital gains.
