Our BTC Film Series Season 15 line up was scheduled to coordinate with seasonal and monthly celebrations. Our film screenings coincided with events such as International Women’s Day in March and Earth Day in April. Our goal this year was to guide our audience to resources and to the many community groups and organizations in the area, and to shift focus from problem-based thinking to a solution-based mindset. With the films and speakers we continued to strive to build awareness of how we can all participate in making sometimes simple, important and positive changes in the world.
We screened 10 very diverse and thought-provoking films in Season 15 and collaborated on two special events. Throughout the BTC 15th Season of the film series we generated many engaging discussions and shared a variety of ideas, perspectives and viewpoints. This season we also cultivated new relationships and partnerships with The Complete Paddler, The Escarpment Corridor Alliance, Protect Our Winters and The Blue Mountain Village Film Festival.
